Martinsville City Council members are split over whether redistricting reform is needed in Virginia. In a 3-2 vote, the council on Tuesday adopted a resolution in support of such reform. Vice Mayor Jennifer Bowles and council members Gene Teague and Mark Stroud voted in favor of adopting it, but Mayor Danny Turner and council member Sharon Brooks Hodge were opposed.
