The U.S. Supreme Court will hear another Virginia redistricting case, it announced Monday morning, agreeing to take up litigation that alleges a racial gerrymander in General Assembly districts. A panel of federal judges ruled 2-1 last fall that race had not played a predominant role when the legislature drew these 12 districts, with one reasonable exception in Sussex County.
