Gerrymandering practice must end, and soon

As a mathematics lover, I read with interest a recent Associated Press article about a mathematics professor at Tufts University, who hosted a weeklong conference there “to harness cutting edge mathematics to address gerrymandering,” or “the practice of crafting voting districts in a way that favors voters from a certain political party or demographic.”
