League of Women Voters Lynchburg to host meeting on gerrymandering

The League of Women Voters Lynchburg will host a meeting Oct. 5, titled “Rigged Elections and a Path Forward,” featuring a nonpartisan redistricting advocate, according to a news release from the organization. The event at the Lynchburg Public Library, 2315 Memorial Ave., begins with a 5 p.m. social time with refreshments followed by a lecture by Brian Cannon, executive director of OneVirginia2021, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
